Conduct a Third-Party Verification Visit in Your Area

Upon recertification in the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program (ACSP) for Golf Courses, members must have a local, third-party site visit conducted to help confirm certification status.  Each volunteer conducting the site visit receives a four-page questionnaire to fill out while walking (riding) the golf course with the member.  Audubon International staff works with the member and the third-party verifier to ensure a productive and educational visit.  Contact the ACSP Program Manager at 518-767-9051 ext. 114, for more information.

Serve on a Member’s Resource Advisory Group

Each golf course working with Audubon International is required to create a Resource Advisory Group as part of the certification process.  Since 1991, local, volunteer members of these Resource Advisory Groups have provided wisdom, talent, and expertise to AI program members.  These local partners often come from government agencies, local environmental groups, and universities, while some are simply local citizens with training or expertise in a particular area (i.e., hydrology, wildlife biology).  In all cases, Resource Advisory Groups provide a much-needed local support system for our program members and serve as an additional, third-party to confirm activities at the site.  To learn more, please contact Audubon International at 518-767-9051 ext. 114 or Click Here.
